Walnut Creek Pet Policy

Walnut Creek is a pet friendly community. To ensure the safety of our residents and their pets, we have a set pet policy in place. Walnut Creek allows a residency to obtain a total of 2 pets per household.

• All pet owners are held responsible for picking up after their animals. There are designated pet stations with bags and trash bins for your convenience.
• Your pet MUST be always on a leash while outside the apartment, except when in the pet park.
• Pets may not be left on patio/balcony alone.
• We do not allow visiting animals for any reason.
• We require all pets to be fully vaccinated and registered by the city. We require proof of vaccinations and a picture of your pet for record.

All violators will be given lease violations and charged a penalty for not following pet regulations. If your animal gets into an altercation with another animal or a person you will be subjected to a lease violation and asked for the removal of your pet immediately.

**Unauthorized pets will result in a $100 initial charge and $10 every day after***
The following states our breed restrictions, pet fees, & monthly pet rent:

Dog Restrictions include: *Pit Bull & *Rottweiler

Non-Refundable Pet Fee: $425 - $525 (per pet)
Monthly Pet Rent: $25 - $35 (per pet)

The pet fee & pet rent for your pet(s) will be determined by your PetScreening results.
